CHARLES HAIR SPECIALISTS.
THREE GENERATIONS OF HAIR CARE.
Charles, (Calogero,) the original owner, sets up his first barber shop in Paterson around 1920. After turning it into a successful venture over the next three decades, his son Charlie joins the business in 1953. In a few years, the business grows, and they move into a larger space just across the street.
After the passing of Charles in the mid 1960’s, Charlie relocates the business to Fair Lawn, New Jersey. Nearly three decades after he took over the business, his son Chuck, (grandson of the original founder,) joins the business in 1982.
In 2001, the business expands and moves again, this time to its current Paramus location. In 2014, Charlie retires and Chuck takes over the business as a third generation owner. It’s been more than a hundred years, and the original vision still stands: to provide excellent service to our clients through the artistry of hair care, and to make them feel great about trusting us with their hair styling needs.
